About Us: Edno School
Edno School is located in Sofia, specializing in courses in Bulgarian language and culture. It was founded with the passion for teaching and the love for Bulgaria, its culture and language. The name ‘Edno’ means ‘one’. It stands for one place that welcomes people from all over the world. It is also one of the first words people learn in Bulgarian.

Our mission is to help you learn Bulgarian according to your needs. We would like you to enjoy the country as a local – speak Bulgarian, explore the nature’s beauty and the local traditions, and feel at home.
Goals
Lessons
One of our long-term goals is to create a school of Bulgarian language and culture that sets really high standards in teaching and customer service. We are dedicated to developing and delivering high-quality courses in Bulgarian as a foreign language. Our courses are based on the actual CEFR levels (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Our lessons are delivered by professionals who absolutely love what they do and have the experience and knowledge to do it in a fun and meaningful way. We use a wide range of contemporary teaching techniques in the classroom. But what makes our lessons really special is the attention to the cultural aspect of learning.
Edno School: Projects
We are currently working on the development and improvement of Bulgarian language courses for adults – from complete beginners to proficient users. Our most popular course is the beginner’s Bulgarian for foreigners one but we are determined to promote the higher levels as well.
Our school acknowledges the importance of technology in learning. We are currently using a few apps which allow our students to practice at home. We are also working on a more ambitious project – the creation of a professional course for learning Bulgarian Online.
